Meet The Writer!

Hi I’m Tangie Bell, the writer, maker, and storyteller of the life I’m still building. I’m 53, a wife, a mom, and a woman who has lived enough chapters to know that growing older is not the end of becoming.

Aging Notes is my quiet corner on the internet where I share the real parts of this season in my life. It’s where I write about learning to slow down, finding balance, and making room for joy even when life is busy or heavy. It’s a space for women, especially black women, who know what it feels like to carry both gratitude and questions, strength and softness, dreams and doubts. Oh, how our story needs to be told!

I’ve lived through decades of change , raising children, creating art, and running my own business. Not to mention, navigating my way through this aging process, love, and self-evolvement. I know what it feels like to step into your fifties with a heart that still wants more from life, not less. That’s what I write about here.

This isn’t a place for perfection or pressure. It’s a place for connection, reflection, and growth. If you’ve ever felt like you’re behind, I hope you’ll see that you’re simply in motion. We are still becoming, and that is more than enough.

So pull up a chair grab a coffee or a sweet tea.:) thatsmyfavorite

And let’s talk about what it means to live fully, love deeply, and grow into ourselves at every age over 40, 50, 60, and beyond.
